As he approached his own senior years, he realized that no one had really laid out a complete map for seniors to follow in exploring their housing options, so he wrote the book “Senior Housing Simplified”.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys gardening, hiking, teaching, reading, and spending time with family. Joe resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and has a son, a daughter, and four grandchildren.
